Dr Truchetti

Dr. Geoffrey Truchetti

DMV, MSc, DES, DACVAA

Dr. Truchetti graduated in 2009 in veterinary medicine. He completed a Master’s degree in Clinical Sciences and a Specialized Studies Diploma (residency) in Anesthesiology in 2013, at the Université de Montréal. He graduated from the American College of Veterinary Anesthesia and Analgesia (ACVAA).

He has been a consultant in veterinary anesthesia and analgesia since 2013 with several veterinary clinics, companies, and research groups. He has worked with Dispomed on several projects since 2014. He is also an anesthesiologist at Centre Vétérinaire Rive-Sud, Centre Vétérinaire Laval, and Hôpital Vétérinaire Centre-Ville de Montréal, and works jointly with all of the general practices of the Vet-et-Nous group. Dr. Truchetti is passionate about teaching and anesthesia risk management.

Dr Fred Rousseau-Blass

Dr. Frédérik Rousseau-Blass

DMV, m.v., MSc, Dipl., ACVAA

Graduating from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine (FMV) at the University of Montreal in 2015, Dr. Rousseau-Blass then completed a general internship at the Daubigny Veterinary Center, followed by a master’s degree in clinical sciences.

Between 2017 and 2020, he completed a residency in anesthesiology at the FMV. In 2020, he obtained his certification from the American College of Veterinary Anesthesia and Analgesia (ACVAA).

Dr. Rousseau-Blass initially worked in anesthesiology for the VetetNous group before joining the E-Vet Mobiles team, where he focuses on anesthesia training and direct support for veterinary teams across Quebec.

Passionate about preventing anesthetic complications, pain management, and education tailored to clinical realities, he is a strong advocate for the continuous improvement of veterinary practices.

Dr Nigel Caulkett

Dr. Nigel Caulkett

Dr Caulkett completed his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree at the Western College of Veterinary Medicine (WCVM) in 1989. He spent a year in mixed animal practice and returned to WCVM in 1990 to start a clinical residency in veterinary anesthesiology. After completion of his residency, he started on faculty at WCVM in 1994 and received board certification in the same year.

Dr Caulkett was on faculty at WCVM until 2006, and subsequently moved to the University of Calgary Faculty of Veterinary Medicine (UCVM) where he served as the founding Head of the Department of Veterinary Clinical and Diagnostic Science. He retired from the University of Calgary in 2024 and works as an anesthesiologist at VCA Western Veterinary Specialists. Dr Caulkett also works with Moore equine and consults with Altano’s Canadian practices with a focus on training interns and staff in equine anesthesia.

Dr Caulkett enjoys anesthesia of all species and is passionate about teaching anesthesia to RVT’s, veterinary students and advanced clinical trainees. He enjoys working with colleagues in primary care small animal and mixed animal practice. He has consulted with numerous practices over the years.

Dr Alexandra Robinson

Dr. Alexandra Robinson

DVM, DACVAA

Dr. Robinson earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in 2017. Following her graduation, she moved to Australia where she gained experience as a veterinary anesthetist in equine, small animal and exotic patients in both referral private practice and academic settings. She moved back to Canada in 2022 to commence her residency training in anesthesia and pain management at the University of Montreal. She has been a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Anesthesia and Analgesia since September 2025. She has worked at Central Victoria Veterinary Hospital in Victoria, BC since October 2025.

Dr. Robinson is passionate about the provision of individualized, high-quality perianesthetic patient care, advanced locoregional techniques, risk mitigation strategies, error and complication management and providing continuing education.

Dr Mosley

Dr. Craig A. E. Mosley

DVM, MSc, Diplomate American College of Veterinary Anesthesia and Analgesia

Dr. Craig Mosley graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College at the University of Guelph where he also completed a residency and Master’s of Science program in veterinary anesthesia. Dr. Mosley has been actively involved in many facets of veterinary medicine since graduation including; mixed animal practice, emergency medicine, critical care, teaching, management and of course, anesthesia in both private and academic practices throughout North America. Dr. Mosley’s varied experiences have provided him with the foundation for his practical and “real-world” approach to anesthesia and pain management.

Dr. Mosley is currently a staff anesthesiologist at the VCA Canada, 404 Veterinary Emergency and Referral Hospital in Newmarket ON and an independent consultant in veterinary anesthesia providing both direct and indirect clinical support and continuing education.

Dr. Mosley has written several book chapters, peer reviewed articles and has lectured extensively at local, national and international conferences on a variety of topics and issues related to veterinary anesthesia. His interests in veterinary anesthesia are diverse, encompassing everything from wildlife and zoo animal anesthesia through to the equipment used to maintain and monitor anesthesia. His wider interests in veterinary medicine include innovation in veterinary medicine, access to care, sustainability, the science of clinical decision-making, medical errors and leveraging expertise to better support the wider veterinary community.

In his spare time, Dr. Mosley spends time enjoying the outdoors with his veterinary anesthesiologist wife and two daughters. He is passionate about all things with two wheels and spends far too much of his time riding his bikes (both motorized and people powered) exploring the off-beat trails and paths throughout Ontario and beyond.

Dr. Philippe C. Larose

Philippe is from eastern Ontario, Canada. He completed a year of dental medicine at the University of Montreal, before graduating with a Doctor in Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from the Université de Montréal in 2018. He completed a small animal rotating internship in 2019, followed by a small animal surgical residency at the Ontario Veterinary College in 2023. He graduated from the University of Guelph with a Doctor of Veterinary Sciences (DVSc) degree in 2023. Dr. Philippe C. Larose is a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Surgeons.

Throughout his veterinary degree and residency, Phil has received several awards for his leadership, academic merit, research, and scientific presentations. Despite his demanding residency program, Philippe has embraced his journey as an inventor and entrepreneur creating the BOSS+, an innovative surgical positioning device!

Dr Jane Pegg

Dr. Jane Pegg

Dr. Pegg studied Veterinary Medicine at the University of Guelph, then spent 5 years in rural farm and general practice before developing her passion to pursue dental specialty training.

During her residency at Colorado State University, her research was focused on improving surgical efficiency in the dental operating room. One of her proudest moments was being presented with the annual award for original research with the greatest impact at the Veterinary Dental Forum in 2019 for her research intended to improve surgical efficiency in the dental OR.

In 2021 she founded Transcend Veterinary Continuing Education. The goal is to help empower family veterinary teams to feel confident with dental surgery through post-graduate training. Transcend Vet CE offers hands-on training for general practitioners and technicians to elevate their own dentistry skills to help deliver better patient care in their own practice.

She spent 5 years as the Head of Dentistry and Oral Surgery at VCA Canada’s 404 Emergency and Referral Hospital before developing Ascentra Veterinary Dentistry and Oral Surgery.

In 2025, Ascentra Veterinary Dentistry and Oral Surgery will open its doors in Newmarket, ON. This is a standalone dedicated Dentistry and Oral Surgery Hospital and Training Centre to serve the needs of pet owners as well as deliver continuing education general practitioners and specialist in a dedicated, purpose-built space.

Dr Marcoux

Dr. Josée Marcoux

It was during a return to her studies that Dr. Marcoux decided to pursue her dream of becoming a veterinarian, earning her degree from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at the Université de Montréal in 2016.

Her profile naturally drew her toward specialty medicine, as early as her second year of studies she began her path in veterinary dentistry. She quickly completed a general internship in small animals and her residency in dentistry, also at the Université de Montréal.

Dr. Marcoux completed nearly ten external internships in dental medicine in Canada and the United States during her training.

Her journey allowed her to deepen her knowledge of exotic animals and tackle challenges with patients ranging from 2 to 600 kg! She passed her examination with the American Veterinary Dental College in 2023 and now aspires to become a leading figure in veterinary dentistry education in Quebec.

Wanting to be closer to her veterinary colleagues, she joined E-vet Mobiles at the end of her residency in 2020. She regularly gives lectures for a variety of veterinary organizations.

Dr. Brittney Rigby

BVetMed MSc DVA DACVAA DECVAA(ret)

Dr. Brittney Rigby is a veterinarian with advanced training in veterinary dentistry and oral surgery. She earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Wisconsin and completed a Small Animal Rotating Internship at the Calgary Animal Referral and Emergency Centre (CARE Centre) before returning to the University of Wisconsin for a residency in Dentistry and Oral Surgery. Her training included advanced dental procedures, maxillofacial surgery, oncologic surgery, and management of traumatic facial injuries.

Dr. Rigby joined Alberta Veterinary Dentistry in 2022 and is now a co-owner of the practice. In addition to providing advanced clinical care, she helps guide the clinic’s clinical standards, education initiatives, and long-term growth as a center for veterinary dentistry and oral surgery.

Her clinical interests include all aspects of veterinary dentistry and oral surgery, with particular passion for pediatric dentistry and feline oral surgery. Dr. Rigby also lectures and teaches hands-on training in veterinary dentistry and is a budding international educator committed to advancing dental care for animals worldwide.

Outside the clinic, she enjoys spending time in the mountains with her husband Michael and their cats, Archibald and Ogden.
